The title track says it all: MANIC OUTRAGE. Once the working title of this tape, "manic outrageousness" is exactly what I was going for.

I'd been proud of my first tape when it was finished, but it didn't take long for its flaws to reveal themselves, causing me much retrospective embarrassment. I felt the songs had been too easy and safe and wanted to shake things up for my next turn at bat.

Though I somewhat succeeded, many of the songs and ideas were again half-baked, making this tape just a curious way station on the way to RIVALRY INSANITY, my first truly successful album.
